I am not trying to sound like a bigot here. But at least Hillary didn’t have any small children trying to run for president.

Is it a conflict of interest to have a woman running who has a baby?
IF we are attacked again, do I have to worry our vice-president is going to be listening to a baby monitor instead of our national security advisors?
Does anyone have a baby monitor they’d recommend?

I had one made by Safety First that we got at Wal-Mart and it quit working. We have no clue why. It was cheap in more ways then one. I’m looking for a new monitor that’s not expensive, preferably under $30. Does anyone have a baby monitor they really like and would recommend? We need something that will last more then 2 months because we cannot afford to keep replacing them.
I don’t mind paying a bit more if it’s a good one. Fisher Price was what we had before but bugs got into it while it was packed up so it quit. The local Wal-Mart stopped carrying Fisher Price monitors
I absolutely cannot afford $130 for a baby monitor!! That’s absurd!

Is it ok to use a white noise machine if you have a baby?

Just one baby’s mama asked:
I like the idea of a white noise machine, and between my husband’s snoring and the cat fussing around all night, I think it would help me sleep a lot better.
However, does it seem unwise to block out noise when I have a 1 y/o sleeping in the next room? I don’t want to be inattentive - maybe I should just crank up the baby monitor…
Anyone else use one, even though they have a baby?

I’m buying things a little along for my baby who will be comming into the world in mid-August. The baby’s bedroom is just accross the hall from our bedroom and I wonder if there is any need for a monitor. Did those of you who purchased them really use them? If you didn’t purchase one did you wish you had?

My son is almost 2 1/2 and we still use it for naps and bedtime. It stays on all night even though my bedroom is right next to his.
