Lovely Pump. looks like it means business like a hospital pump. that is why i bought it.

silent, very effcient, milk flows beautifully. Painless,

the dial to increase the strength is not graduated and did not realise i was not using the full power till second day, with full power it does a great job, the suction is well seen.

Dual pumping is possible but holding onto both would be tricky; breasts become a bit sore as expected with a baby sucking or any pump;

DEFINITELY as good as the hospital pump which we have tried.

Have not tried any other electric pump so cant comment any comparisons.

Dont waste money on manual pumps, tried philips avent, hopeless, just put the extra money and go for this.

I bought this after struggling with a hand held and a cheaper version sold by Boots. This was wonderful- quiet operation,painless (can adjust it so starts slow and increae) it has a nice ryththmical action is extremely efficient and just more natural feeling which is important I think as no one wants to feel like a dairy animal.

We bought this after using a Medela Harmony handheld pump, which fell apart (rubber valves got torn) after only 4 weeks. If you need to express constantly like we did- our little one just wouldn’t suckle directly- then you need a ‘hospital-grade’ pump, and this is the one to buy.

The handheld ones may be good for casual users, but for regular users the moving parts will soon wear out, valves tear and rubber bits fray; and as we found out, replacement parts are a nightmare to obtain. There are other ‘hospital grade’ pumps out there, but they’re all much more expensive than this one- mainly because of all the bell and whistles which you’re not likely to need anyway.

We used this regularly, twice a day, for 7 months without a single complaint. It’s in the loft now, awaiting the next li’l ‘un. Top marks for price, top marks for function, this is the pump for the regular user.

I bought this item after finding the Tommee Tippee manual pump hard going. After the manual I was loaned a Medula pump for a month. Finding this brand unaffordable to purchase I opted for the Specra as the reviews were very complimentary and price so reasonable. I have now been using this pump several times daily for 2month with great results. My little girl has all the expressed milk she needs and the dual pumping is time effective.

Have used this every day for the past 4 months when I started expressing. It’s very simple to use and the best feature is the dial which allows you to control the suction. Would recommend this to any mum. Can get 5 - 6 ounces of milk within 10 minutes now. Very convenient
