Three main reasons why I rated this a five-star:

1) The price is great for a manual pump.

2) I can express at least 4oz in 15 minutes.

3) Fits great with many different brands of storage bottles.

i highly recommend this.

i had a electric tommee tippee breastpump before which broke, (definately not worth the money)

but this pump is very effective and produced milk quite quickly for a manual and worth every penny! :)

I found this pump most useful when my breasts felt tender and sore, as I could manage the speed and suction power manually. The soft shield applied delicate pressure and was great to use. Plus it made no noise and I could use it without waking the baby up and also in places where there was no electricity available. Would recommend this above the Medela mini electric, which is noisy and harsh on the breasts and which I put back in its box and not used again as soon as I got this one.

I bought this pump because I didn’t like the Avent isis too much (too heavy, leakage, and contains BPA), and I read many excellent reviews about Medela harmony.

This pump is indeed very comfortable and well designed, but it is far less powerful than Avent, and unfortunately doesn’t work well for me. So I wouldn’t recommend it to women who need a strong succion to express their milk, but it might work well for those with a strong flow.

Why on earth is this listed as a TOY?! It is for expressing breast milk.
