I am surprised to the reviews that give low rating to this pump. Actually, I used it for several months and it has always a perfect job. I think the bad reviews returns to the nature of the mother’s breast. However, I can see that it worked perfectly with me, and usually takes small effort. Just a hint, the perfect job you can get is in the early morning, before your child breastfeed. In this case, I can fill the bottle sometimes in 5 mins only. However, in the mid of the day, or after I breastfeed my child it could take an hour. So use it wisely.

I’ve been really pleased with this.

Easy to put together and clean. I find it very comfortable to use but I invested in an electric pump in the hope of speeding up the process. However, I have gone back to my hand pump as it is more ‘productive’ and much more comfortable. My only concern is how long it will last as the pump handle seems looser after 6 weeks of use.

All in all a good buy and the steriliser box is great - was ideal to use for bottles when travelling at christmas.

I found it very difficult to express using this pump. The suction part didn’t work very well and any milk that was produced all leaked around the outside. Had to bend right over to get any of the milk to drop into the bottle. Then tried Avent manual pump which was much better as it has better suction around your breast and allows you to express a lot more milk quickly.

On a positive note the steriliser container which comes with this pump is a great idea and very useful. On the whole I was very disappointed with this product as I use other tommy tippee products which I have been very pleased with.

I bought this pump and used it once, it was incredibly slow, I ended up buying the Avent ISIS IQ DUO electric pump which was much faster - I wouldn’t recommended spending any money or any time on a hand pump.
