this is by far the best thing to invest in if you’re a working or an out and about mum. effective, easy and provides multiple solutions; two separate power sources (via socket or via portable battery pack) and two separate expressing options (manual and electric). plus, it’s quiet too!

I brought this as my second child refused to latch on and i wanted the give him the best - my milk. THe avent electric pump works a treat, you pump by hand for a bit and then press the button and it does all the hard work for you. However my baby is four months old and i’m already on my second pump. the first one’s motor stopped working after a month and now the second one has stopped working too. I only express twice a day for 20 mins both sides, so just over an hour a day, i do expect the motor to last much longer then what they have done. however, as long as the motor works this is a great buy !
