I am now 16days late on my period. My ****** have grown to nearly two sizes bigger, I have lost a stone in weight before I new my period was late and I am still loosing and I keep coming over dizzy and sick, plus quite bad backache. I have done two test which were negative. I have been to see my GP who didn’t help at all just sent me away as soon as I walked though the door saying they don’t do pregancy test anymore and to keep trying. Has anybody else been negative and it not shown up in a pregancy test for months? Or has anybody felt how I do and were not pregant?

Need advice about pregnancy test?

Friday, November 20th, 2009 | Women's Health | 3 Comments

bananas4breakfast14 asked:

They say that pregnancy tests are most effective after the first week of your expected period. But what if your periods are irregular to begin with. There’s no telling when your expected period is! right?

I slept with a girl 35 days ago and she had her last period over 2 months ago. I got worried and but she said she was not pregnant because her temp has not risen over a period of time. I don’t buy that so I asked her to take a pregancy test and the result was negative. Considering her periods are so irregular is this result trustworthy?

Negative Home pregancy test question for you ladies?

Monday, November 9th, 2009 | Women's Health | 4 Comments

gumbogirl asked:

Me & my fiance had *** (unprotected of course, DO NOT LECTURE ME) on the day of & the day before ovulation. Iwas due on the 9th & am late. I am 23 years & have never been late a day in my life (i know EVERYBODY says that but it’s true, since age 11 i’ve been very regular). I took the test on the 9th & it came back negative. i took it again first thing this morning..again negative. I plan to wait until next monday & take it again. If it comes back negative, I’ll be going to the doctor. As far as symptoms go, my breast/nipples have been mildy sore & feel extra extra heavy (i’m heavy chested to start with, but these things feel someone added 5 pounds weights to them). i’ve been having a lil food aversion & nausea. At this point i’m not sure what to think, so im just gonna wait it out. How many of you got negative tests when you were actually pregnant and how far along were you when it was confirmed. Any advice, stories, anything you want to add that i should know please do. Thanks!!
i know they say stress cannot make you late but its never affected me before and aside from that i havent been stressing over it until i realized it didnt come that night…so i dont think that stress is a factor for me.
well i mean i’m not stressin over it now, but i just didnt think anything of it until it didnt show up. i mean im happy with either result…i just **** not knowing.lol, ya know?

Metformin linked to pregancy?

Monday, November 9th, 2009 | Women's Health | 1 Comment

ps3money asked:

My girlfriend and i have been having *** for about 5 months now, in the beginning she was just taking metformin, an anti-diabetic drug. a few months pass and she gets put on birthcontrol. we still use condoms for a month, waiting for the birthcontrol pill to take effect. after the month, we literally dropped the condoms in excitement to actually feel the real deal. it’s been 4 months on the pill and she just had her period, but she’s been talking to people who are telling her that Metformer increases chances in pregnancy even when on the pill. She’s also telling me she feels like she gaining weight because ’she’s been having more of an urge to eat’.

here’s what i think:

1. since we have *** only a month into the pill and didn’t get pregnant opposed to the recommended 2 months.

2. using a monthly pregnancy test and having it all come out neg.

3. the person talking to her about this doesn’t like me. so i always think she’s saying crap to get her… iffy about me. (she’s a spoiled brat with a “look at me - look at me, imma pretty pretty princess attitude.

4. she lives in a strict household being, basically, force fed daily to eat more then she can handle, stretching out her stomach. causing her to eat more.

5. her and i used to go for walks all the time, about a month or two ago we stopped to take a breather and just have fun. since then we’ve been gained weight and gotten lazy. she thinks that her weight gain is caused by a pregnancy.

those are the way i see it..

Bottom line: she’s not pregnant.

please anyone with advice, suggestions, or any actually fact based info on what’s going, why she might be thinking about this…

please, leave some comments or something and let me know what you think/know…

Thanks everyone for reading this, and have a goodnight/morning/afternoon/night.
She does take her Birthcontrol everyday at the same time. she’s never missed so far.

she asked to be on it to make her period lighter, but really it was so we could have *** without condoms.

she take antibiotics for acne

she’s currently sick with a cold

her bones ache all the time due to poor back support. (passed down from her mom)

any other questions about her, please ask. i’ll tell you anything.

Have period like bleeding with Pregancy Symptoms?

Monday, October 26th, 2009 | Women's Health | 1 Comment

Kimberly M asked:

My husband and I have been trying to concieve for about two months. I thought I was pregnant (even though HPT was neg.), but got my period a day late and have had it for 5 days. Usually my period lasts about 3. I have had severe symptoms, much more than a usual period. In the beginning I had sore breasts, headaches, and cramps….but most went away. I even thought my period stopped until today. Now I have some pains near my ovaries when I use the bathroom, I feel nauseated, have headaches, and I am still bleeding lightly. Is it worth it to take a HPT in the morning? What could the pain near my ovary be? Could I still be pregnant? I have read some blogs around the internet and have seen that some women experience something very similar to a period and are still pregnant. Is this something that can truly happen? I really need some advice as I am getting concerned. Thanks for any help…

How long is breastfeeding a dependable natural birth control?

Saturday, March 14th, 2009 | Women's Health | 6 Comments

Maria L asked:

I’ve heard if you’re ****** feeding that that alone will be effective in preventing you from getting pregnant again. How long is that true for? The entire time or just the first few months? I plan on breastfeeding for at least a year when I do have children, so would it work that long? Thanks.

After giving birth did you have a long bad period and hemorrhoids?

Monday, January 5th, 2009 | Women's Health | 2 Comments

giving birth
Heather T asked:

I started my period almost 2 weeks ago, and two days ago it started getting really heavy like it was starting all over again and i am having cramps also. This is my first period since giving birth 6 weeks ago. Also I have hemorrhoids, which is extrememly painful. Is that because of giving birth? I fear going to the bathroom. Any tips for that? Anybody go through the same thing after having their baby. I do plan on calling the doctor tomorrow just wondering if anyone else has gone through this.

Giving birth?

Tuesday, December 30th, 2008 | Women's Health | 4 Comments

giving birth
8039 asked:

Why is it that humans have possible the most painful birthing method? it’s like the human body isn’t designed to give birth. I just saw a video of a woman giving birth and they had to cut the skin just so it could get out *barfs* and not to mention all the complications that can occur even under full supervision
